Funded through the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program provides group-based interventions for individuals who have been charged because of violence towards their intimate partners. The role of the program is to educate the offender about the nature of abuse and its effects on the people close to him/her. The program also offers additional support to victims; ensuring their safety is first and foremost.
Develop labour force skills to improve employability of urban Indigenous people.
Develop employment opportunities for direct-service users through employer partnerships and community based economic development activities.
Support direct-service users to stay in school, return to school and transition along the education and employment continuum.
Advance urban Indigenous community development through increased labour force participation and retention.
