Program Goal:
The overall purpose of the Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin program is to engage men to become advocates and reclaim their role to end all forms of violence towards Indigenous women and girls.
To reclaim and revitalize men's responsibility to end violence towards Indigenous women and girls.
To ensure access to Indigenous cultural values and to increase understanding of traditional roles and responsibilities based on local Indigenous knowledge.
To promote resiliency by empowering men to acknowledge and resolve trauma.
To improve men's wellbeing and foster overall community wellness.
